Empowering Men Through Education and Support

Rising Futures Transitional Residence aims to provide safe, stable, and supportive housing for recently released inmates in San Diego, California. Our purpose is to reduce recidivism while offering a structured environment combined with strong educational goals and supportive services that enable residents to reintegrate successfully into society.  It is our hope that in time, Rising Futures will become known as the exclusive transitional residence for parolees involved in post-secondary education.

Life Skills Education

Life skills education bridges the gap between traditional academics and real-world independence. It equips individuals with cognitive, social, and emotional competencies—such as financial literacy, critical thinking, and stress management—to navigate everyday challenges, build healthy relationships, and thrive personally and professionallyIntegrating this type of education into traditional school curriculums and at-home routines promotes independence and minimizes risky behaviors. It helps learners of all ages—from young children to adults—build the self-confidence needed to adapt to life transitions and achieve long-term success.

Substance Abuse & Mental Health Support

We offer crucial on-site or partnered counseling services, both individual and group, to address substance abuse and mental health challenges, supporting holistic recovery.
